There are four rooms in the University Library that may be reserved for meetings of campus groups conducting University business: KEL 2413, 3010, 3012, 3013. More Information
Patios
Barahona Patio
The patio, on the fifth floor of the University Library off of the Barahona Collection area, is open for student use for studying. It is furnished with a complement of tables, chairs, and umbrellas. The patio has evening lighting and a western exposure. The 5th floor patio is a no smoking area.
Faculty Center Patio
The patio is on the second floor of the University Library, with a western exposure. The patio is furnished with a complement of tables, chairs, umbrellas, and benches. The 2nd floor deck is a no smoking area. Use of the patio requires prior reservation through Event Scheduling. The Faculty Center has priority scheduling of the patio, and reserves the patio during the lunch hour (11:30a-1:30p) Monday through Friday during the academic year. More Information
Instruction Labs
There are three Library Instruction Labs - KEL 4400, 3400, and 2303. The instruction labs are to be used primarily for library and information literacy instruction sessions taught by a Teaching and Learning Department (T&L) librarian. More Information
Reading Room
The University Library Reading Room (KEL 5400) is located on the 5th floor of the University Library. The Reading Room provides:
- A quiet study space for use by all students during the library's open hours.
- A venue to host events.
Virginia Hansen Curriculum Room
The Virginia Hansen Curriculum Room is located on the 5th floor of the University Library. The curriculum collection contains educational materials for preK-12 students for use by School of Education (SoE) and Speech Language Pathology (SLP) students. Adjacent to the collection is a workroom that provides equipment for SoE and SLP students to create their own curriculum materials. More Information
