The University Library Student Advisory Board (SAB) is a group of CSUSM students and library employees that work together to improve student experiences of library services, technology, collections, and spaces (physical and virtual). SAB student member input and constructive feedback helps to re/design and implement library services and spaces influenced by what’s important to them and their peers.
Charge
Per SAB student members, the SAB’s purpose is to:
- Help make the library student friendly
- Help bring in more students
- Collaborate on ideas to efficiently help and benefit student community
- Gain insight and advocate for students
- Advance and develop ways to make the library more useful and welcoming
- Be a connection between students and library staff
