
Meet the Artist: Isidro Pérez Garcia

Join the University Library in welcoming Isidro Pérez García for an in-person reception where he will discuss the inspirations behind his artwork in the exhibition, Migratory Land Knowledges.
This event is free and is open to students, faculty, and community members.

Exhibit Workshop
Date and Time: Thursday, March 27th from 12pm – 1:30pm
Location: The Makery, University Library’s 2nd Floor
Participate in a paint making workshop led by artist, Isidro Pérez García. During the workshop, participants will learn how to harvest Cochinilla from Pencas, grind it, change its PH levels, and paint with it on handmade paper. This technique closely replicates the technique Pérez Garcia used within his exhibition, Migratory Land Knowledges.
