The CSUSM University Library Common Read program is proud to host, Hint of Tatreez, for a 1.5-hour tatreez workshop at the Makery. During the workshop you'll learn the cultural importance of Palestinian embroidery alongside traditional techniques. Create beautiful patterns while connecting with others in a welcoming atmosphere. No experience necessary—just bring your creativity and an eagerness to explore this meaningful art form! Attendees will receive a free copy of the graphic novel, Baddawi, by Palestinian author Leila Abdelrazaq
