Día de los Muertos Celebration

Join us for a lively Día de los Muertos celebration on Thursday, October 31st from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Kellogg Plaza. Experience the traditions of Día de los Muertos as you explore ofrendas (altars) and lowriders. Browse through a selection of Latinx vendors offering unique crafts and goods and delve into books that highlight the significance of Día de los Muertos. Engage in interactive activities and deepen your understanding of this important cultural celebration. Don't miss this opportunity to honor and learn about Día de los Muertos!! See you there!

12 - 1 p.m. - Make your own lantern, sugar skull, or marigold flowers!

This event is hosted by the CSUSM University Library in collaboration with University Police Department, Latinx Student Center, Latino Association of Faculty and Staff, College Assistance Migrant Program, Yo Soy STEM, and Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlán (M.E.Ch.A.).
