Description

I came to know about the exhibition themed No War in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which was originally an online event, but was scheduled to be held in Ogaki Poster Museum.

I did research on the V sign all people nowadays do to show peace, I realized that it was actually a sigh to show victory in the first world war. I was determined to accentuate this transformation of meaning through the sign, and express that Russia wanted victory while Ukraine wanted peace.
The two fingers up were depicted in missile shape, with the colors of the national flag of Russia. the broken fingers symbolized the broken world.

I hope people could imagine an understand when they see my poster, and stand for no war.
