Britton Neubacher Artwork

Artist Reception
Thursday, April 6th
5:30pm – 7:30pm

Join the CSUSM University Library in welcoming Britton Neubacher as she discusses her work and her inspiration for creating the pieces on display in the 3rd floor exhibit area of the Library.

Artist Statement: Working with plants as my medium has shown me just how adaptive and tenacious the natural world is. There is no forcing my will onto the things of nature. If I want to enjoy my process, I will see them as collaborators and allow them to shape me back. In exploring the animating relationship between people and plants, and the natural order/disorder of our complex partnership, I imagine that something more hopeful can be born between us.

Please contact Rosa Rodriguez, CSUSM's Outreach Librarian for questions and further details: ryrodriguez@csusm.edu
