Meet the Artist: Isidro Pérez Garcia

Date and Time: Tuesday, March 18th from 5pm – 7pm  

Location: University Library’s Fifth Floor Reading Room

Join the University Library in welcoming Isidro Pérez Garcia for an in-person discussion where he will talk about his exhibition, Migratory Land Knowledges. 

Migratory Land Knowledges is on display in the library’s third floor lobby and online from January 21st through May 18th. 

Exhibit Workshop

Date and Time: Thursday, March 27th from 12pm – 1:30pm

Location: The Makery, University Library’s 2nd Floor

Participate in a paint making workshop led by artist, Isidro Pérez García. During the workshop, participants will learn how to harvest Cochinilla from Pencas, grind it, change its PH levels, and paint with it on handmade paper. This technique is like the one Pérez Garcia used within his exhibition, Migratory Land Knowledges.

This is a free workshop, and all supplies will be provided.
