Support for DACA

The University Library affirms its unequivocal support for the many in our community who will be impacted by the decision to rescind the Deferred Action on Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. We will do everything in our power to ensure physical and virtual library spaces remain safe and inclusive environments for the CSUSM community.

Fall 2017 Exhibition

The CSUSM Black Student Center and Context Library Series is pleased to present Revolutionary Grain: Celebrating the Spirit of the Black Panthers in Portraits and Stories. Documentary photographer Suzun Lucia Lamaina spent five years traveling throughout the United States chronicling the lives of more than 50 former Black Panther Party Members. This exhibition commemorates the humanity and legacy of the Black Panther movement through powerful portraits and narratives originally published in Lamaina’s Revolutionary Grain book.
