Survive and Thrive, Spring 2017

You are here

The end of the school year is upon us! We want you to survive and thrive with help from theses extra services:

Longer hours! The library's 2nd floor study spaces will be open from 5:00pm to midnight for student study on Friday and Saturday nights (5/5, 5/6, 5/12, and 5/13) leading up to finals. We will also be extending hours in the main library from 8:00pm until midnight on Sunday nights (5/7, 5/14). See the complete calendar of library hours.

Stay late and stay fueled! Keep an eye out for the “Crunch Time” snack cart roaming the library during our extended hours starting Friday, May 5 around 9:30pm.

Get your fur fix! Pause for Paws will be on Thursday, May 11 from 10:00am-1:00pm. There’ll be over a dozen certified therapy dogs in Kellogg Plaza for student, faculty and staff stress relief.

Stress less! Also on Thursday, Thursday, May 11 from 11am-1pm in Kellogg Plaza, visit the Stress Less Relaxation Stations. Hosted by Student Health and Counseling Services and Active Minds CSUSM, this event provides fun activities, performances, demonstrations and multiple stations for stress reduction.

Need more study space? Use the classroom on the 3rd floor! KEL 3400 will be open Monday-Friday (5/8-5/12 and 5/15-5/19), 8am-6pm (3pm on Fridays) until the end of the semester. Please note: a few classes are still scheduled to meet during this time, patrons studying in KEL 3400 may be asked to relocate.

Take a study break! Coloring stations, puzzles, games, and more will be available on tables throughout the library at the end of the semester.
