The University Library invites the campus and San Diego community to our spring 2021 virtual exhibit reception, Stories & Snapshots: Documenting a Year of the Pandemic. The exhibit focuses on the resiliency of our campus and surrounding community during these difficult times and takes a closer look at our daily challenges and celebrations through CSUSM's Together/Apart COVID-19 Community Memory Archive.

Please join our panel discussion of distinguished guests as we discuss the historical impact of the COVID-19 virus on our community, efforts by local cultural heritage institutions to document the pandemic, and how participants of these projects have shown profound strength in sharing their personal stories through photography, stories, and multimedia outlets.

Our panelists include:

Sean Visintainer, Head of Special Collections, CSUSM University Library
Susie Lan Cassel, Professor, CSUSM Literature and Writing Studies Department
Judith Downie, Special Collections & History Librarian, CSUSM University Library
