The library research session and this course guide are designed to support your work in this class on Spanish dialectology. You have an assignment to collect data on local linguistic variations of Spanish. In this case, 'local' is the San Diego area which can include linguistic groups besides Mexican due to being a border region.
To support your work, you need to review the scholarly linguistics literature. Gathering data includes looking at sources such as the US Census and reliable 'think tanks' such as the Pew Research Center.
